Turkey Burgers

INGREDIENTS:


  • 1 packet of turkey mince.

  • Small white or red onion, finely chopped.

  • 1 red chili finely chopped.

  • Small handful of coriander, chopped.

  • Raw egg.

  • Salt & pepper.

  • Oil for frying (preferably coconut).

Makes about 6 burgers


METHOD:

  • Blend all ingredients in a bowl with your hands (prepare to get messy!).

  • Take a small handful of mixture and flatten between your palms – place each burger on a plate until the mixture is gone.

  • Heat a few glugs of oil in a large, heavy-bottomed pan.

  • Add the burgers to the pan and cook on a medium heat until browned on one side; flip the burgers and cook the other side.

  • Serve with baked sweet potato chips and salad.
